Dear Friends,

Each year our organization is excited to put together and share our annual report! This one feels particularly gratifying because 2024 was extra special. Let’s see, it was our 50th anniversary, which we celebrated with a party in each state in our beautiful region (you can check out the fun we had in these photos!). While keeping up with the business of organizing support groups, fighting the good fight for legislation in the six New England states, weighing in on federal advocacy, and more- we also changed our organization’s name – from Resolve New England to AllPaths Family Building!

In 2024, we sought to protect access to the amazing fertility care that can make dreams of parenthood come true, including for many of us on the AllPaths board and staff. Unfortunately, our community at large also faced unprecedented legal and policy threats to reproductive health care, including in vitro fertilization (IVF). We stand ready to continue to fight back with our partners!

On a personal level, last June, I was honored to take the reins as President of the AllPaths board, succeeding the extremely effective, calm and successful tenure of Jennifer Redmond.  This organization is so dear to me and to all of us. We want everyone to have access to the options, resources, and psychosocial support that they need when trying to build the family of their dreams.

My heart - and all our hearts at AllPaths - are always with those working so hard to grow their families. ALWAYS.

I hope you enjoy looking back at the impact we made – together – in 2024. Now, let's see what kind of magic we can conjure up in 2025! The work is already well underway.

With respect,

Lisa Rosenthal, AllPaths Board President

P.S. YOUR input and involvement are very welcome! Let us know how and when you want to participate - we’ll design the perfect opportunity for you.

I am so grateful that on this journey I had the AllPaths support groups. They were truly a lifeline for me during a difficult year and gave me support, questions to consider, and people to relate to that I had nowhere else.

Introducing the AllPaths Podcast

Making its debut in 2024, the AllPaths Podcast has quickly become a key vehicle for our mission of wanting every person, no matter the paths traveled, to be able to try to grow the family of their dreams.

The format of our podcast is simple but compelling: each episode features a conversation with someone who is navigating or has navigated a challenging family building journey or with an expert in this space. It’s been wonderful for our organization to have a new way to elevate different voices in our community, raise awareness, encourage empathy, foster connection and inspire action. Providing a window into the complexity of family building in a dynamic and accessible format, the AllPaths Podcast has already garnered a strong following. The show's success also underscores our commitment to making resources accessible to all and to creating meaningful connections for our community in whatever way is best for each individual.

As the AllPaths Podcast continues to grow, we are excited to bring more powerful stories, in-depth explorations of resources and family building options, and advocacy action steps. Together our community can help every family have emotional support and accessible paths during their family building journey!

2024 AllPaths Advocacy Award

AllPaths was thrilled to present this year's Advocacy Award to Polly Crozier, Director of Family Advocacy at GLAD Law.

We have proudly worked with Polly to advocate for parentage bills throughout New England, namely Vermont, Rhode Island, Connecticut and Massachusetts, as well as inclusive fertility insurance bills. We were overjoyed when the Massachusetts Parentage Act (MPA) became law last summer! Polly is a tireless, knowledgeable and effective advocate. She is dedicated to ensuring that all people have access to fertility and family building, and that all families will be protected regardless of how they were formed.

You can listen to Polly talk about her story and her work, as well as hear the presentation of the Advocacy Award during our 2024 Footsteps for Family Building Walk, on Polly's episode of the AllPaths Podcast.
